This is my manifest
My history inscribed
Now learn me, you wingless bile

These rules, I've bred from reticence
Before I had my say
I've learned, in lieu of endless life,
It serves to make you mortals go away

I'm as cold as a frost
Ancient as broken hearts
I'm all you've lost,
Or don't you recall?
Light as a dime
Bold as a dragon breathing fire
And in time,
You'll know me as the maker of your fall

This is my manifest
My blackened wings unfurled
I stand parched and realized
And poised to drink the world
But here in this realm of mine
Not all is as it seems
In spite of my appetite,
