I couldn't leave my parents or my brother
I sat on the grass as the time slowly passed
Watching people try to talk to one another

And no one knew me
We all had dispositions of our own
I stared quite rudely

Just like I'd imagined, I found some companions

Or maybe prattle chasing fear into the sidelines
